Worthy Threads Style Series: Beatnik Pinafore

March 21, 2019

Beatnik pinafore dress by Worthy Threads, clothing brand for unique toddler clothes.

Our second Style Series is extra personal to me since it's with our Beatnik fabric. I think everyone knows by now that I have a special place in my heart for this one.

Once we laid eyes on this print, we knew we had an exact style that we were going for with our brand: cool, effortless, don't take yourself that seriously though. Without getting too meta, our pieces make a statement about yourself. Wearing our pieces says something about your sense of humor. It's usually a dry one. People who "get" our prints and "see" our vision, those are our people. Those are the ones we are creating for. We see you, you fashionable, witty, quirky, smart people and we raise you some pieces for your kids.

Our signature print in our signature style is a piece we wear all year long. From the schoolyard to the beach, we have your styles covered. Take a look below for outfit inspiration for your tiny style icons!

STYLE #1: THE SCHOOL GIRL

When I was putting this one together, I showed a friend of mine and asked if she liked it and she said "yes, it looks like something Olive would wear!". I guess I have a type. We love throwing a sweater or sweatshirt over pinafores, sweater tights and sneakers for the perfect style on colder days. We always make sure to accessorize and are prepared for anything the day has in store. This outfit is perfect for the kid who loves school and is ready for the classroom, the library and the playground.
