Worthy Reads - November

Everything I've been enjoying this month!
Buying
I have been LIVING in this jacket since I bought it last weekend. While it's definitely warm enough for winter, I am using it more as a transitional jacket since it's cropped. I like to be as bundled as possible when it's actually cold out.

Even though I don't plan on wearing it in the coldest months, it's been perfect for cold mornings! If you are someone that runs hot, it could be an adorable and flattering winter coat too.

I also snagged this hat when I was at Zara the other day and it's as soft as it is beautiful and looks great with my new coat too. It's the perfect refresh to some of my older knit hats that have gotten pilly.
Cooking
Sweet
Easily the most delicious thing I have baked all year (if not ever), this Cinnamon Crunch Bread from Half Baked Harvest is so good that Gus told his entire class that it's a special tradition in our family (even though I made it for the first time 2 weeks prior 😂 )

Make this for a holiday gathering, brunch or really any time you are looking to impress someone (even if it's just for you). I am not exaggerating when I tell you it's the best thing you will eat this season!
Savory
I had the pleasure of going back to Loring Place this weekend and was completely obsessed with everything we ordered. The standout to me was the Baked Ricotta. It is an appetizer (though may as well have been my entire meal) served with toasted fresh bread. The sweet roasted Japanese squash combined with the salty baked ricotta and the touch of mint made it a truly memorable dish.

I found this recipe AT THE TABLE (after looking through the cookbook at the restaurant AND asking our waitress if they had the recipe available in any book), I will be making this one on repeat over the holiday season.
READING
I have been trying to be better about putting my phone down and picking up a physical book. You probably know that already if you follow #worthybookclub on Instagram. Feel free to read with me!
the hunting wives
I am not exaggerating when I tell you I CANNOT put this one down. While most of the characters are pretty unlikeable, I was VERY invested in learning everything about them and the story. Run to get this one to get yourself out of a reading rut!
